VTCT (UK) qualification
Overview
The VTCT Level 3 Combined Diploma in Personal Training is an internationally recognised vocational qualification regulated by Ofqual — England's official qualifications authority. It is based on the CIMSPA professional standards for personal training, the same standard required to work in gyms and fitness facilities across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
This is a combined qualification that covers both Gym Instruction (Level 2) and Personal Training (Level 3) in a single programme — making it one of the most comprehensive fitness credentials available in Sri Lanka. LIFN is the only VTCT-approved fitness education centre in Sri Lanka, delivering this programme with bilingual instruction in Sinhala and English.

Awarding body
Awarded by VTCT, a UK awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual. LIFN is the only VTCT-approved centre in Sri Lanka — you receive the same certificate as students in the UK.
Ofqual is the UK government department that regulates qualifications in England. This qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at Level 3 — the regulated standard UK employers recognise.

The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity sets the professional standard for fitness across the UK. This qualification meets CIMSPA's Personal Trainer standard, making you eligible for professional CIMSPA membership upon completion.
