Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple measure that estimates whether your weight is in a healthy range for your height. It's widely used by fitness professionals, nutrition coaches, and doctors as a quick starting point for understanding weight-related health risk. Enter your height and weight below to calculate yours.

BMI is calculated using your height and weight:
Metric
BMI = weight (kg) ÷ [height (m)]²
Imperial
BMI = weight (lb) ÷ [height (in)]² × 703
Because South Asian populations tend to face weight-related health risks at lower BMI values than Western populations, LIFN uses the WHO's Asian BMI classification as the primary reference for your result, with the standard global scale shown for comparison.
